J. J. Abrams must be stopped!!!!

OK...just finished watching Cloverfield. i have just come to the conclusion that J. J. Abrams has nothing but contempt for fans of his work. Either that, or, somewhere along the line, he ascribed to the absurd notion that leaving and audience totally bewildered and clueless equals damn fine storytelling. i never really got into Alias, but from what i understand, some of its plots where so labyrinthine Magellan would get lost in them. LOST, i'm enjoying, but, believe me, i'm still not making any sense of it. And Cloverfield. A couple of answers about what was going on would have been SOOOO greatly appreciated, but no. We never find out what's going on, why, or how.
And now, the Star Trek prequel is in his hands. If he holds true to form, we're probably going to find out that Spock was half Vulcan/Klingon, that Kirk was gay, and that Bones was Dr. Joseph Mengele from World War 2, flash frozen and discovered in the 23rd Century. Mr Abrams, do you really hate your audience that much?? We demand some satisfaction from our entertainment. i can understand how making an audience puzzle events out for themselves is a legitimate strategy. There has to be a payoff somewhere though, and, in all Abrams things i have watched to date, no such payoff has occurred.

Apparently now, i have a pet. This past Saturday morning, i awake to hear a rustling out in my living room. i stumble out of bed, and find, to my surprise, a bat flying around in my apartment. After a moment of "WTF?!?!?", i start looking for how the little blighter got in. It seems that the screen on the outside of the window in my bathroom has become very loose, and, with me keeping the window open to get air flow going through my apartment, he crawled under the loose screen, and found his "freedom" in my place. i soon managed to herd him back into the bathroom with the open window, and shut the door, so all he would have to do would be to crawl back out under the screen and be on his way. After i couldn't see him any more, i shut my inside window, after making sure that there was no opening for him to climb back into the apartment.
Well, guess what. It's now 11:20 Sunday morning, and he's hanging from the underside of the window, between the glass and the very loose screen. i can't tell if he just hid himself well when i closed the window Saturday morning, or if he's crawling back in and out under the screen after finding himself a new "Batcave", so to speak. He's still alive, because i can see him move slightly while sleeping.
At this point in time, i'm not TOO worried about getting in touch with the landlord. If he's found a new home, i'm kind of cool with it. i highly doubt that SWONtario is a popular home for vampire bats, so he's probably harmless. As it is, he can't get back in, unless i open the window, which i'm not going to do. i'm tempeted to just leave him be, and see how long he hangs around (no pun intended). If he does stay around, i may just have to name him, and i already know what that will be. Vlad.

Renauld would manipulate Charlie into trying to kill a major drug dealer, that is not in Renauld's back pocket. The mission wouldn't really succeed, because Charlie was a protector of the homeless in the big City. Assassination isn't really his game.

What is, or would be, #9's (Jimmy) favorite book?

TD would fall to Veronique's talents, charms, etc, and he would swear fealty to her. She also has access to better magical powers than he does.

For some reason #5 (Grelkor) is looking for a roommate. Should they share a studio apartment with #9 (Jimmy) or #10 (Scott)?
YOWZA..what a choice. Grelkor is a Wemic (half man-lion) Ranger, in tune with nature; a Beast in and of himself. Scott is AAALLLL about the Beast. Jimmy's childishness would drive Grelkor absolutely psycho, and Grelkor would eat him. Scott would be the better match of the two, so long as Grelkor kept cleaning the hair out of the shower.

#2 (TD), #7 (Charlene), and #12 (Renauld) have dinner together. Where do they go and what do they discuss?
"So, a white mage, a werespider, and a Setite walk into a bar..." Seriously, with two blood drinkers in the party, TD the mage would very shortly find himself on the menu. As to the where?? Anyplace dark.

#3 (Mountain Man) challenges #10 (Scott) to a duel. What happens?
Near apocalyptic destruction. Mountain and Scott throwing down will almost certainly obliterate any small town, and do quite a number on a fair sized city. Both have Strength near the peak of their respective beings limits, but Mountain has the Stamina to just keep going. The duel goes to Mountain Man, but would take a very long time, at least until sunrise.

If #1 (Master Payne) stole #8's (52nd St. Charlie) most precious possession, how would they get it back?
Another tough one. Payne is a fairly public figure, with some skeletons in the closet. He just chooses to show them at times that benefit him. Charlie though is a sneaky Nosferatu bugger. He'd do the typical "stealth entry into lair, and steal it back". What it would be though? i have no idea...

Suggest a title for a story in which both #7 and #12 attain what they most desire.
"Blood, Glorious Blood"

What kind of plot device would you use if you wanted #1 (Master Payne) and #4 (Marco Gambini) to work together? "We have each of your most favourite person/object. Do as we say, and you will get them back". Both being vampires, with Payne never being told what to do, and Marco just too stubborn to let things go, work together to get back what's theirs. Hilarity ensues.

Not very well. She'd politely refuse any attempts at dinner, all the while, looking at me like i was the next main course. i'd definitely sleep with one eye open.

Veronique would quietly slip the pancake away using Movement of Mind, while Payne the Sadist and Renauld the Masochist start throwing down for it, in a battle that lasts what seems forever. They'd just enjoy it WAAAAYYY too much. Then again, they're all vampires, and can't eat anyway. It's the principle of the thing...

Hmmm.....Charlie's all about knowing the streets and bad neighbourhoods, and has the strength and means to take on most average "bad neighbourhood bad guys". Charlene uses bad neighbourhoods as feeding grounds, so she'd feel right at home. i'd say it's a toss up, one way or the other...
